Default Brake Cage ??

One of the guides in the brake cage, at least thats what I think it is called is seized.

What is this part really called and has anyone ever had this problem.

That part where red arrow is

Double nut? Hold inner, loosen outer.

That's called the caliper bracket and the guide pin is what’s stuck.
Just use a PROPANE torch (NOTHING HOTTER) for only a few minutes where the yellow arrow is.
It will free up and pull out with vise grip pliers.

You'll get it sorted no worries.
I think you will be amazed at how easy the pin comes out once you apply some heat. It won't take much effort at all.
This "method" has worked on every vehicle I've had with this problem.

Got it out. Got some pins and boots coming in so I can wrap this up.

Now I had a damn Rotor set screw seized in. Had to drill it out and I think I messed up the treads in the hub.

Do you really have to put that set screw back in, or once you get the pads and stuff in place its not necessary?
