Default Brake Lights!!

Sorry if this has been addressed before! My brake lights are not working, I have checked the fuse in the cabin, bulb filaments look good, and I've replaced the brake switch. The top brake light in the rear hatch IS working just not the lower ones. What am I missing??? This is making me nuts, I've checked all the connectors I can find and all plugged tight too....

You've checked ALL bulbs in the lighting assembly? There are 2 or three per...

This sounds tricky. How abt checking the diagram and trace the break light wire through your truck? It's possible you may have a break somewhere causing it to short so they won't light up.

OK problem solved.... I took out all the bulbs and the filaments were all intact, however I grabbed the old multimeter and did a continuity check on them.... One of the bulbs must have been broken inside somewhere. And yes the filament was intact because being me I took my hand lens at 10x and looked..... Thanks for the help though!!
