Can/Bus no communication issue

Just thinking out loud here - leave the cluster disconnected and disconnect the abs unit and see what resistance you get. It could be wires in a connector shorting. With all disconnected should see zero ohms.

The resistors reside in two places - firstly on the instrument panel and the other end is on the ABS module. If you disconnect the plug to the ABS module you should read 120 ohms.
