And on another note to the other fellow that responded, the "Right to Repair Act" has already forced manufacturers to release their service info and emissions related programming to the aftermarket. That is why J2534 protocol was introduced. Pending bills are related to SDRM (Theft Related Parts).
Thanks for that update. I remember reading about it in the paper a couple months ago.

They are probably confused. The D2, P38, and the 2003-2005 L322 were designed during BMW. I know the D2 and p38 have German (Bosch) MAF sensors.
