Default Coil Conversion Module Issue

I just converted my 06 LR3 SEV8 to coils and am experiencing an issue when trying to use my GAP BT device. Before I wired in the module I was able to see the blinking light on the tool but after install it doesn't flash and my app is not seeing it on BT. On the instructions it says to wait for the module to flash prior to starting the engine so I'm wondering if I didn't allow enough time to elapse and if so is there a way to reset so that I can go through that process again? I'm going to disconnect the battery and let it sit overnight then turn on the ignition and give it time before starting but wondering if I need to remove everything and start over, only concern there is the air is gone so I might get the fault codes and not be able to reset those. I don't use the GAP a lot but right now getting a check engine light and want to sort that before driving it too much, no suspension faults or lights are on so I assume the module is working. Anyone have experience with this?

It does nor matter when you plug it in, most of the time I use it I dont even turn the engine one to run certain things. Other times I do when not all the computers are online. My guess if you managed to blow the ODBII port fuse.

Didn't even think about a fuse, I'll check that.

fuse is good, and now the suspension fault is showing up. Back to the drawing board.
