I found this LR3 on craigslist it has front end damage. The air ride in the back are out. I have a friend that works on LR so repairs wont be too bad. What do you guys think for the price?

I would hate to buy it and find the engine is nfg

Those are auction # on windows he may have a clear title he has not flipped to his name, if it was insurance auctioned you may end up with salvage title you cannot register when you try to title it

Needs hood, 2 fenders, grille, steel bumper, 2 fender flares, 2 head lite housings, probly the header panel, bumper cover, lower grill, tow point, air deflectors for rad, horns, washer bottle, plus hardware and wire repairs and whatever you can't see, which could include rad and coolers

easily a few thousand $ in parts imo, used parts and I have yet to see these in junk yards just lying around

 

I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole. There is definitely frame damage and it looks like he bought the wrong headlights for it to lol.

 

Love how it says cold a/c but engine won't start, guess he means the a/c in his office lol


Buy it, I will sell you mine with the bad engine, same color 06 hse only 4500 obo got everything you need to fix that

 

fyi I think this is a scam same truck same auction # on glass same pics except they removed the broken parts, same contact phone # listed in Newark deleware
