Default Dash Lights have gone AWOL

Trying to diagnose this issue. Last night, i realized my dash lights (instrument cluster and radio/climate center stack) were not on.

Headlight switch turns on headlights and taillights. Headlight setting does not turn on dash lights. Auto setting also does not turn on dash lights (but i was unable to determine if it the sensor triggered the headlights/taillights on but not the dash lights).

I have checked the fuses f39/f68 in case it is anything related to the instrument panel. Trying to diagnose if it's the switch itself.

Any thoughts?

Update - tried with another switch - still the same result. Because it's been bright i didn't notice, but it flickers ever so briefly when turned to the sidelight and auto...but doesn't stay on. Doesn't even flicker on the "on headlight" setting.

Have you had any rain recently or gone through a car wash? The same happens to mine in these conditions, likely water getting in through the A pillar trim or windshield cowl.

Solved.

There is a wire at the back of the connector (the car side female connector) that was either damaged or kinked or something that was preventing the power to the lights. Discovered this by wiggling the wires individually to see if it changed anything.

Suggest if you are facing this issue, look to see if you leads into the block are compromised.

Are you talking about the electrical connect at the back of the instrument cluster panel?
