Driving/Spot Light Wiring
Hello Folks,
I have just upgraded my Disco 2 after 18 years of ownership to a 08 Plate Discovery 3 SE.
I have a pair of LED spot lamps that I would like to fit, however as someone who you might say is "Electrically Challenged" i am struggling.
Ideally I would like them to come on with my main beam and work independently (in the respect that they are not in use all the time) if that makes sense. I am thinking of purchasing the Land Rover spot light switch XKB500080PVJ to make the job neater inside.
Does anyone have a step by step idiots guide to what to do, what wires go where etc? I have found some useful info on here already however need to link all the bits!!
I am based in the UK if that makes a difference.
Trusting that there will be someone out there in this goldmine of information who can put me right.

The trigger wire for high beam is slate/blue on the LH headlight, its the easiest to tap into. Here is a good guide that includes the switch you will be using -
