I am now getting ready to replace my EAS compressor, but have a question that someone may be able to answer.
I purchased a kit with sections of airline and push fittings in case I can't pull the ones out from the old compressor and have to cut them. I now have the parts needed to join the new sections to the existing airline with the supplied joiners.
My question is the kit came with some brass sections, but I am unsure as to their purpose – none of the posts I’ve read or even Youtube videos show anyone dealing with any brass fittings.
I have attached a picture of the kit and the parts in question are those numbered 1, 2, 4 and 5. They are sized so that 1 and 2 fit inside airline number 10. 4 and 5 fit inside airline. they are also hollow and have a raised ring at one end
Airline 9 seems to be very similar to the thin one that runs from the back of the compressor to the fitting at the other end and believe it is a replacement if needed, but my new compressor already has that line installed.
The brass valve looks to be just a spare replacement for the one at the back end of the compressor, but again my new compressor has one already installed.
8 and 9 are obviously the joiners to join new sections of airline in the kit into the exiting airlines if they needed to be cut.
Any ideas what the 4 brass fittings are for?
Cheers
SM

The brass fitting are used on compression fittings such as those found at the valve blocks. You will probably only need one for tube 9 as that tube goes to the center valve block.
