would anybody be willing to let me borrow or rent their EAS diagnostic tool? I'm getting an intermittent suspension fault and the nearest LR dealer or indy shop is over 40 miles away. The code comes and goes so it'd be for a few days. I'll pay for shipping both ways or if you live in the NOVA area I can pick it up.


I already know about GAP, RSW, Hawkeye, etc as far as scanners go and don't want to buy the unit to use it one time. I really appreciate anybody's help.

I responded to your post on the other forum as well. Just buy the GAP tool; you will use it over and over. It definitely pays for itself.

Also, I don't know about the other tools but you can't use the GAP tool on an LR3 that it's not licensed to. They are VIN-specific.

 

Yeah its not like you buy it once and then never use it. Use mine all the time.

They are VIN-locked but I think they can clear codes at least on other VIN's

 

I think they should just come with the LR!
