Default EPB and Brake Pad Sensor Light

Just a quick question. The EPB needs attention on my LR3 - usual issues. Does this issue usually throw up a check brake pad warning?

I replaced the front sensor as it had broken loose. That seemed to settle the light. Thinking the issues were concurrent but separate.

However, have started it up after a couple of days and it's intermittently binging to check the pads again.

Goes away when the EPB is solved?

Yes. This is because if the EPB blows its main fuse there must be a fall-back warning - cause brakes are critical. This is actually common in some other cars too, a backup warning of sorts - such as if the parking brake lamp burns out even. But I will say that if you have a hard EPB fault that lights should say one, not be intermittent. So did you check the rear sensor too?

On my way to double check that actually....

It does flicker on and off and is not a steady light.
