Default Extended Warranty - Recent Experiences?

Hi. Been looking for an additional LR3, think I've found one. I know it can be difficult to get a reasonably priced Extended Warranty on any Land Rover, but I figured I would do a bit of research - Been a couple of years since I have looked into this in detail.

Anyway, I think I have come across a quote which seems almost too good to be true, so I figured I would share the info here to get your opinions.

Company - Liberty Bell Auto Protect
Website - https://libertybellauto.com/
Plan - Platinum Prime (covers basically EVERYTHING)
Vehicle - 07 LR3 SE with 90,000 miles
Term - 75,000 or 5 years, whichever happens soonest
Cost - $2,475
Deductible - None
Limits - None (no limit to individual claim $, total lifetime claim $ or labor $)
Other - 30 day money back guarantee, need to pay via cc over phone (RED FLAG ALARM BELL?),
Written Quote - Have received it in writing, via email.
Where - Can be taken to any certified ASA mechanic

Is it just me, or does this seem too good to be true?

I don't see any 'scam' noise online about this company - Thoughts?

Any other recent positive or negative Extended Warranty experiences?

At this point, I am planning to go and look at the vehicle for the first time tomorrow, to start doing a thorough investigation. Including PPI at nearby Land Rover dealership. It's being sold by a fairly large and well established dealership, and the Carfax seems to check out ok.

Cheers, Simon

Have no idea about that company, but we work with some extended warranty companies for our customers and they love it. One customer paid $5K, and has done over $8K of work with us.

That looks about right.

Have not needed it yet, but I went with Delta Auto. Protect. I have a 2007 with 110,000 miles and I got a basic drive train ( full car available) for 60k miles and 5 years for around $1900.

Good prices. The no Limit of Liability on a LR sounds dangerous for the company, but that's on them. Look over in depth your coverage, as every company has different levels of coverage.I am a broker and an agency owner in the F&I industry and have access to various outlets. If you are looking for a warranty or VSC, email me your VIN, odometer and the most recent bill of sale date on your vehicle. I will get back to you with some quotes. All kinds of programs are available, from powertrain and comprehensive coverage, all the way up to manufacturer-like warranties and VSC's. Any vehicle qualifies - Doesn't matter if it's a Ford, a Chevy, a Mercedes AMG, a Mini Cooper, a Maserati, a classic Corvette, a Pontiac GTO and beyond, there are programs and plans for everybody. The vehicle does not have to be under any kind of coverage right now, I just ask that the vehicle has been taken care of.
