Arrow Ford Part Compatible w LR3?!?! NEED ASAP

I bought a new thermostat for my 05 LR3 4.4 and when it was in it popped out and broke one of the brackets off the housing. Can anyone please tell me if there's a Ford compatible part number for it and, if so, the link for it because I want to get a few other parts as well - especially a new catalytic converter

Thank you all for being so helpful - I'm a girl who knows nothing about parts/issues and when I go to a mechanic or parts store they seem to always want to sell me ten more things I don't need 😤 Everyone keeps telling me tinsel it but no way I LOVE this vehicle.

P.S. I have a genuine Bull Bar w lights (need new bulbs/lenses) - there are no scratches or rust on it at all. It's in great shape - I just want to sell it so I can replace it with a chrome grille - trying to make it a little less masculine 😁 If anyone would be interested please let me know. I'm located in Southeast Missouri.

No I am not. As far as I know you cannot buy that part seperatly, the entire thermostat housing with thermostat and sensor is sold as a unit.

If you do replace just that piece, I would consider that a band aid and you should be changing the whole assembly. The plastic gets brittle after time and creates cracks/leaks in the assembly.

Good luck

No idea. The V8 is a jaguar motor and the V6 a ford.

Just because Ford owned them doesn't mean that thermostat housing went on any Ford vehicles.

Eurospare makes one and you might find a Napa or Autozone that can order it for you.

FYI agree with Abran. You do NOT have a Ford motor. the AJV8 4.4L is a Jaguar motor. While Ford did own LR from 2004-2012, parts compatibility is hit and miss. The only component I ever found to be a ford part was the ignition coils.

I would go to your LR dealer or online and order the entire thermostat housing. If you aren't familiar with bleeding coolant loops, this is not DIY. Do it wrong and cook your motor.

While the parts for the thermostat housing are available separately this one, New Coolant Thermostat Housing for Land Rover LR3 Range Rover Sport LR005631 | eBay would seem to make it a better buy to get the whole thing. Or you could always try Thermostat And Housing Assembly - Range Rover Sport, LR3 And LR4, but that's a little dear.

I keep genuine Land Rover Coolant Crossovers (aka Thermostat Housings) in stock because when a thermostat goes bad, we replace the whole unit. The crossover itself will eventually start to leak from one of the four gaskets or we see them split where they bolt to the heads. Its a little bit of a pain because the throttle has to be removed to access the lower portion where it bolts to the block, but the part itself isn't very much and is piece of mind.

You wouldn't happen to have that Ford part number for the coils, would you?
