Default Front end clunk...the dealer is stumped!

So I've had this problem since I bought the truck a year ago. It was the normal front end suspension clunk that a lot of these trucks had. I have had the control arm bushings, sway arm bushing and tie rod ends replaced. I have also had all four brake rotors replaced to account for the warp (yes they were warped).
The last visit to a different dealer said that one of the bolts that holds the tie rod in place wasn't properly torqued, so they torqued it up nicely and I drove away. The truck felt a bit more solid until I took her off road...clunking and loose feeling steering once again.
I really don't understand what this could be and apparently neither does the dealer (This has been done through 4 visits). Could there be something messed up with the steering column?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's possible, the lower part gets a clunky play in it, mine has it. I haven't changed it yet, but have the part.

You'd need to be a bit more descriptive about this "clunk" in order for anyone to do much besides make random guesses. If the dealer can't figure it out, try an independent LR shop..

Here are some noise identification videos that I think are great;

Here is a link to the description with pictures of the column issue, it didn't fully make sense to me..

you replaced tie rod ends / lower ball joints? was the steering knuckle itself damaged?

So there is a "normal" clunk that the vehicles have as well?

They normally wear out their lower control arm bushings, but it's not normal, just expected. Also, a lot of people say that even with good bushings they'll clunk a bit when used off road. I haven't had a chance to go off road with mine yet, so I cannot comment.

Yeah sorry, I meant normal as in it happens to a lot of LR's. Like it's a common occurrence.

I'm not completely sure, the truck did this when I bought it so I haven't damaged it...and I haven't had the time to start ripping things apart to check.

I suggested to the dealer that there may be some play in the steering and/or a problem with the steering damper; because I noticed that when I hit sharp bumps at any speed above like 5 mph, I can feel the steering wheel sort of jar itself back and forth like there is play in it. I'm going to try to get a couple of gopros underneath to check out the sound closer. I'll post a link here when I get the video.

Thanks for the suggestions!
