Question The error code that STUMPED my local Dealer. PLZ HELP!

So I just got loads of work done at my local LR dealer. They told me the light might come back on and if it does it might need an O2 sensor. The light came back on I brought it in and now they are saying its not the O2 sensor its a vacuum leak from the intake manifold gasket. But that's a straightforward repair. $40 max for the part and $1,000 for the labor and I'm good. HOWEVER!!!! then they bust something out that they never have seen or heard of. The error code for my ABS Rough Road Sensor is on. Now it usually comes on when the car is in motion, mine is doing it at a complete stand still! they think it may be a short in a wire and want to charge me 3 hours of labor to troubleshoot the problem. Anyone have any ideas or heard of anything like this? Also will it screw my truck up to drive it when this sensor is giving an error? As far as the vacuum leak, do you think its unsafe to drive far as i might build up excess carbon because of the fuel/air mixture will be off? Thanks in advance for your help.
