Default Fuel Injector Problem

I searched the threads and found some that were similar to my problem, but none with the same code. I have had the CEL come on constant and the reduced engine performance message pop up. It has a rough idle and sluggish acceleration starting off, especially if I'm going uphill. I have to slowly press the gas pedal until the transmission shifts up. It will get up to 60 mph but it's a struggle to get up to 70 mph. The CEL blinks while accelerating, but it stays constant when I let off the gas and coast. Previously I had the codes read at my local AutoZone and it showed misfire on cylinders 1 (P0301) and 8 (P0308) and injector circuit open on cylinder 1 (P0201). I replaced the ignition coil packs for cylinders 1 and 8 and got rid of those codes, but I still have the injector code on cylinder 1. I'm running Royal Purple injector cleaner through it now and when I fill up tomorrow I plan to double the concentration. If that does not work, I plan to have my indy garage do their injector cleaner service through the fuel rails.
If that does not work, I suppose I have a faulty fuel injector on cylinder 1. If so, My question is whether it is a difficult job to remove and install a new injector? I have checked prices and surprisingly it is not an expensive part.

What kind of gas are you using? Best of luck with the additive, may need the rail clean service.

So strange everyone is getting CEL's these days...

I only fill up with premium from Top Tier stations, which must maintain levels of detergent additives that result in a higher standard of engine cleanliness and performance as compared to the EPA requirement. They cannot contain metallic additives that can harm the emission system.

Can anyone tell me if you replaced an injector yourself? Are they accessible at all so they can easily be replaced?
