Default From another battery thread

Check the ground at the right front wheel well. There is a ground point underneath the fender well plastic. You will need to jack up and remove the inner fender to find it.

X2... I was getting just about the same mysterious error messages, but my suspension would lower and I had limited gears plus a parking brake error and an intermittent start condition, all described here https://landroverforums.com/forum/lr...roblem-108590/ . So far all is good, I just removed and cleaned connections on both sides of that stud the negative battery cable is connected to and ran an extra #4 ground cable from that stud side to my intake manifold. It is a bit of work, but here the roads are salted in winter, so if yours are too, this grounding is a good, inexpensive place to start looking for intermittent weird electrical issues. The Land Rover LR3 maintenance manual shows all the (or most of) grounding points in the 414-01 section "Battery, Mounting and Cables".
