Hi all so what started as a cluster nightmare where the eeprom was deleted and possibly the immobilisation information ended up in replacement clocks bcm, ecu and the keys. So connected it all car starts drives however faults are suspension now red, doors think there all open inside light won’t turn off boot don’t open drivers seat and steering wheel won’t move passenger works fine doors don’t lock all the all terrain features don’t work. So my question because it seems to me all the modules that work these functions believe they belong to a different car. Guess in a way now they do will a ssd diagnostics tool work and help me out I’ve seen this I just don’t know if it will work or have the money for an auto electrician I’ve put too much into people saying they could resurrect the old clocks or clone a second hand pair all efforts were unsuccessful and now I’m forced to change the 3 units to get it running
Thanks for the reply unfortunately I have no diagnostic tool at the moment. However I’ve spoke to the nice people at gap and apparently the big problem was changing the bcm I’ll keep this post updated thanks for your input
If you are in the UK there are a few repairers that can fix a failed cluster, i think its Totaltronics that are highly recommended and the turnaround time is fast.
If you have a gap tool you can clone your cluster but keeping your mileage can be an issue.
Thankyou for the reply the cluster is dead cowboys lost all information on it so it might aswell have been stolen. Spoke to gap and I think that might be the way forward thanks
