Agree with Rovin4life. Sounds like an inner/ maybe outer tie rod end is bad. Have the ball joints been checked. You said its a real city queen and the streets up there are horrible. Have a front end man check the ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, the balance on the tires, the road force on the tires. Have a technician lift the car and have someone ride up in the lift and put the car in gear on the rack. as long as the traction control doesnt freak out this will allow the technician to check and make sure all the running gear is turning smoothly. Have any of these things been performed?

Thanks, Safarisam. I will ask the NYC dealer to be sure to focus on the tie rods and joints. So far the car has been up 3 times with the alignment fixed, new tires thrown on, new brakes too for good measure. The dealer is worried that something with the internal electronics of stability and cornering control might be amiss. However, this dealer is very unfocused and refuses to spend the right amount of time fixing the problem by doing the substantial road testing that is really needed to feel the issue. Thanks for you advice.
