Probably not....and you might start a new thread for this, so that the OP can continue getting advice on their issue.

I'd definitely ditch the rods, and if you don't have a GAP tool, get one. Then, and most importantly, make sure you are replacing like-compressors, otherwise perform the necessary software update. In other words, Hitachi for Hitachi, or AMK for AMK, or else s/w update, which will require the aforementioned GAP tool.

Sorry for the abbreviated term "rods". I meant the entire sensor with arms. The persistent leak causing the issue ended up being a leaking front valve block which I replaced. Finished getting calibrated and now right as rain
