Can anyone tell me the torque specs for the inner tie rod into the rack. I've looked all over and cant seem to find it. its not in the workbook, or should I say I can not find it in there.

So where did you find that. I mean I realize you are a LR mech but I could not find it anywhere.

Find the RAVE stuff for the LR3. Tons of info. Wish I had a link handy for you.

 

OK, I will look into it.

So now i will have to pull the TRE and re torque the inner one. I ended up torquing it to 54 lbs because i was scared to over torquing it and messing up the rack and that was the TRE spec. so all is going to have to come off and redone. oh well should have asked first.

 

So it looks like the RAVE manuals were stopped in '04. Is that corrrect? I cant seem to find anything for the LR3 other than the workshop manuals. Topix but requires a subscription and thats cool but i have not looked into it much.
Anyone got a link?

 

You are good, DOnt worry about the over torque. I found it on Mitchell one. But it is in the LR3 manual. I would send it too you, but its a huge file.

 

I appreciate the offer, to bad though. That would be a great resource to have.

 

There is a RAVE equivalent on disc, i have 2 and cant bloody well find either.
