I would probably go to another mechanic for the alignment and ask them double check the assembly for you.

I did run into an issue with mine where the existing aftermarket tie rod ends were different length than the TRW replacements I ordered. It wasn't possible to match the turns in/out so I just took some measurements to get a ballpark alignment and went to a shop for a proper alignment.
