Default Intermittent passenger headlight low beam

Searched and read all I could . . . but

2006 LR3

Replaced the bulb, swapped everything to the drivers side - bulb, ballast, assly work on the drivers side - the drivers side stuff doesn't work on the pass side. So its behind the connection.

Checked the headlight fuses, no joy. Its beyond my skill/patience to fix. The wiring and plastic parts are still in very good shape so I'm not thinking the wiring has deteriorated.

So I took it to the inde shop (very knowledgeable). He's had it for two days and I suspect he may be stumped. I'm sure he's checked all the fuses and relays first.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you answered your own question.

Best bet is to bite the bullet and describe the problem, history to a dealer tech and then ask their thoughts and proceed to have them fix it.

Just before doing that you may want to see if any fault codes are present, and check the fuses in both fuse boxes, though you may have already done so. I am not aware if drivers and passenger side are separately fused.

My inde traced it to the fuse box under the glove box and replaced it $1400.

Is the old box worth anything? Other than the fuses and relays?

Don't exactly know.
Headlight power to the panel, no power out of the box to the headlight...
