I'm trying to access the setting menu (controlled with the track/volume steering controls) but it doesn't show up on the dash. So I wanna try to do a hard reset on the truck to see if it will now show up.
Since I have Johnson 1.5 rods on my LR3, can I do the hard reset without "decalibrating" the height sensors or the suspension ? What position should the suspension be in ?
The setting menu shows up with engine running and while in park. You have to press the stalk button first to enter them. But doing a hard reset does nothing to the suspension, calibrations are stored in NVRAM.

That's my problem, the menu doesn't show up when I go through the main menu (engine running or not, in park, handbrake on or off, etc) - see video:
Thats fine. I was wondering because with it you can reconfigure the truck, something that is not to be done lightly as it can cause issues like this if not properly done. Not sure where you are located, but the other possibility is the market base model you have never had it activated. If you dont have cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, for example, this feature is disabled. Also being a 2005, it could need a software update to activate it. Again, the GAP tool can help with that. I think it comes with an instrument update for free which includes having the clock on the dash too.
