Default Key Stuck in Ignition

Hi!

My key / key fob are stuck in my ignition! I can’t remove the key.
We have tried everything! Jiggling the key a million times, turning the wheel, pushing the auto gear shifter further into park, rocking the car back and forth..... I am going crazy!
Any tips for a diy so I don’t have to hand over all my money to the shop?

Thanks!

Does the vehicle start? If so, can you shift from park to drive and drive the vehicle? It could be that the vehicle isn't engaging park correctly, which would lock the key in the ignition.

I can drive it, it drives great. I tried pushing the shifter hard into P but the key is still stuck! I am still driving it but just leaving the key in when I park.

I think that park isn't aligning. Disconnecting the battery and doing a hard reset may work. Read this; may help: https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic92358.html

How about when in neutral? My guess is the key interlock is broke.
