ha....I read this thinking 'front to back? how?' Then I got to the edit.

FWIW here's a pic from when I killed the front joint on my driveshaft. Pretty similar grease pattern.

Yep, that seems to be the issue. Ill run it to the shop to see if warranty will cover it, from what i have read its not considered a servicable part, should be straight swap. But they denied a torn front axle cv, so I wont hold out hope. If not, back under I go!
