LR3 Air Suspension
I've got an 07 LR3, and getting the 'normal height' only error. I've had that for a while, at one point it was only coming on briefly and it would go out, and the height would adjust normally. Then it started to stay on, and I left it alone while I worked on other parts of the vehicle. So now I'm back to trying to get the suspension back and working. If I start it, I can get it raised to off road height, but I get the Raising Slowly error. The back goes up immediately, the front takes a few minutes to finally get lifted. I've raised it, pulled fuses and let it sit for 48hrs didn't sag. The front never got as high as the back measuring from center of wheel to bottom of wheel well trim. About an 1.5" lower. But it didn't sag at any one wheel. When I start at access height, the back goes right up to normal when raising and front takes a bit. I'm thinking front valve block but not sure what else to check before buying parts since I'm not finding obvious leaks, any other ideas (don't have a scan tool yet)?
Time for the soapy water spray. Other areas is that the desiccant is degraded and become powdery partially clogging the lines and valve blocks. Order a desiccant replacement kit with filters. Replace the desiccant and filter and go from there. Best is replace the desiccant and blow the lines out, otherwise replace desiccant first, wait a week before tackling the front valve block o rings.
Other than potentially clogged lines, why would this seem to only impact the front and not the back? I'm sure the compressor needs some cleaning. I pulled the cover yesterday and it's original guessing hitachi. I'll try the drier first and see what happens.
Thats it, the powder moves down the lines and fouls the valve block and maybe the front is more susceptible to blocking.
The front and rear hub to wheel well arch are not suppose to match.
The truck raises the rear first then the front, typically. So if the reservoir is low on air then the front can take longer.
The error for raising slow can mean a leak or compressor is lacking output. Sounds like you have a weak compressor/leak - the leak could very well be internal on the compressor, the exhaust valve plunger. Ir a crack in the compressor dryer cap, between the two ports is very common.
If you have a GAP tool you can read the system pressure.

So I checked blocks and each corner to try and sprayed, looked for leaks as best I could. Didn't see anything, Pulled the cover off the compressor to verify it was the stock since I'm the 2nd owner, (it was a lease vehicle). I decided to wait as it needed spark plugs and I've been driving around with it like this for years. New spark plugs, and now the light hasn't come back and seems to be working as expected. It's like it needed a reset. There weren't any codes for it, just a warning light. Gotta love 'em, they are quirky sometimes.
Glad it's working for you now but I'd probably save up and buy a rebuild kit for the compressor with the stuff to service the dryer and and o-ring kit to rebuild valve blocks. Servicing the front and center blocks is fairly easy, the rear one is a little harder to get out of the vehicle but once it's out the procedure to service the o-rings is the same as the front. I was in a bind when my compressor acted up and just took it apart and cleaned the o-rings and coated the needed pieces in fresh silicone grease and did the same to the front valve block and this fixed the issue I had. I did have some universal metric o-ring kits that I was able to pull some from that fit in a few of the spots but not all of them.
My truck is due for a basic tune up, oil change, air filter and plugs, wish it had a serviceable fuel filter as I'm not a fan of the "lifetime" one in the tank. Did you notice an difference in power or fuel mileage with the fresh plugs in your truck?
