LR3 Air suspension F#@ked
F#@K lol So, in need of advice: Suspension went totally flat, as in 2007 LR3 looked like a 'low rider' took it to a shop who said it was... The compressor. Got a new one, had it fitted, (Yes the right one) plus new fuses and relay. Had the error codes cleared, went through the re boot process... NOTHING, NADA, F#@K ALL??? Called Land Rover who said, "As long as you replaced the old compressor with one that's the same you will not need to get it reprogramed!!! It's the exact same model???
The compressor won't start, no matter what we tried, like it's not getting a signal to start from the computer??? WTF?
Any ideas please??
TY

Has it got power, was it a new compressor, rebuild, or junkyard part? Does it run with 12v applied directly. Most importantly what were the codes you cleared they might have been telling us something other than the compressor failed.
There is a ‘Re-enable EAS’ function in the IID Gap tool menu. May need to have someone do that....oh, and be totally sure that you put the relay in the right slot. I put one in the slot below and screwed with it for an hour or two before I realized what I had done!

What was the code number?
A compressor fault can be anything, but the faults are usually more exacting. Like high temp, too much correct draw, etc. If a second compressor did not fix the issue, then it does not seem like a compressor fault.

Pull the relay, jumper the two large slots with a paper clip and see if it runs, ign at position 2. If not check the 60/70 amp fuse related to it (just alongside relay) and see if its burnt up (fuse might not be blown but no circuit)
