Default LR3 brake switch adjustment?

Hello,

Replaced the brakes booster today on my LR3 (all's well with the brakes now). But now the brake lights are constantly on.

Is there some way/procedure to adjust the brake lights switch?

Thanks,
Matt

I think the adjustment needs to be made at the booster. You likely have to adjust the push rod a tad. I had this happen on a different car when I replaced the booster. It was fiddly getting it just right.

Remove the brake switch by removing the lower dash panel, then twist the brake switch and it should come out. Pull the actuator out, then re-insert it making sure the brake pedal doesn't move. It should re-adjust and then test your brake lights.

That sounds familiar. Is it the same procedure as the Discovery 2?

Land Rover 3 ambigos solved 100% with proof)

Below the front right foot mate lots of cables are going backwards from the firewall , wity in these cable is a connection with splicers which is broken or rusted that causes initially intermittent and later on permanent break fault ( 3 amigos hdc , suspension , and special program off faults)

here is a link which is not very clear but enough to work on !!
