Default "LR3 Coolant disappearing! Do I need another Chinese water pump?

Replaced the water pump and thermostat manifold about 6 months ago with an Amazon special. I noticed recently, I am slowly loosing coolant, but I don't see any visible leaks, other than orange goop on the front of the water pump. Is this my problem?? I'm hoping not, since it was a pretty big DIY job for me to replace that water pump. I don't see any coolant in the oil. She's running nice and cool.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Trying to keep this old girl alive! (225k miles and counting)

The crossover tube/housing/t-state assembly need to be installed in a specific way to reduce stress on the plastic. But with that said, the aftermarket ones have a fairly high hit or miss rate. As for water pumps, the AC Delco is $60 and a good known replacement option. I have one installed. I can not imagine going any cheaper on a critical part with some unknown brand.

I guess what is boils down to though is you need to take at least a few things out to pinpoint the leak.
