LR3 Dash Cracks

scale of 1-10.I I give it a 7.5(giving a typical dash cover a 4 and a 10 being a genuine dash replacement). Fit is off a little at the vents. Not completely happy with the air bag inserts.
With that said, I would buy again and again for every cracked dash I have if it bothered me. The amount of labor and the $800 price tag for a replacement dash makes this option a no brainer.
I did the install, they provide a silicone tube. The best way is to get sandbags to hold it down in all the critical places. the sandbags conform to the dash shape and ensure all curves and corners are adhered.

My 05 LR3 with 195,000 has cracks ALL over the dash. Passenger airbag, drivers side, middle. It only cracked last winter in a deep freeze in Boulder County, Colorado. It looks terrible but there’s many other things I’ll replace before the dash.
