2005, no cracks. I hear it is common but find one without, take care of it, and you should be fine.

Use Aerospace 303 protectant on EVERYTHING. Use sun shade. You'll be fine.

I also have 2005 and have used a a 303 for many years as well as custom sunshade for at least 10 and that did not protect me from inevitable. One 2 inch crack by passenger vent appeared this spring and at least 4 inch split right next to airbag front to back started about week a go, so ...

definitely appreciating my luck after reading this thread. got an '06 here with no cracks...wonder if being a lifelong New England truck helped.

actually, now that i think about it, basically all the ones I see for sale up here arent cracked either.

must be more from sun exposure and than from temperature swings

For about $10 get some 303 from any Advance Auto, etc.
This stuff is GREAT for protecting vinyl/plastic from UV.
Bonus it's NOT greasy/shiny so it doesn't glare in the windscreen.

I have a few minor cracks. I applied one layer of trinova marine protectant and always use a sunshade now.

How often do you guys reapply your UV spray?
