True. I might need to explore that idea. Thanks

I've put more thought into this for my setup and my plan is to use two 0awg cables, just not all the way. I am going to run just the positive through the firewall as planned. It will drop down the sill and up behind the driver seat. Under the seat I will also create a very nice ground point with special contact grease I have to prevent corrosion and enhance the connection (its used in telco applications). I may even weld the contact point to ensure the best ground possible. That puts the ground point pretty close to the aux battery ground instead of a full chassis run. From here I will put a high-amp connector where the two 0awg cables will continue on to the accessories in the rear. I thought of putting the inverter on the floor under the seat but I am not too keen on low laying electronics.

Dakota,
on which side of the LR3 is that green arrow marked opening ? I guess chassis is universal and was meant o fit both right and left hand vehicles hence bunch of hidden openings obscured by insulation.

@ thorgal

That is on the driver side for LHD. So the left of the vehicle. Green arrow is the opening one can sorta see around the vacuum booster looking from the engine bay, red being impossible for me to see from the engine bay.
