LR3 Front Sway Bar Bushings
Several mentions recently here of Front Sway Bar Bushings, so I figured I would share the photos of the tools I used, along with the old Bushings, and make/part number of new Bushings that I fitted. This all happened in February 2018.

This is not a detailed 'how-to', but from memory, the following points are probably quite relevant -
1. Not a difficult job, if you have Offset Wrenches.
2. You will see an 18mm 3/8 socket with rounded off end - this was necessary to get to one of the Sway Bar Bushing Bracket Bolts on the Driver side, if I recall correctly - basically needed to make the 18mm socket 'smaller' to be able to fit into the bolt head. Something else was in the way. Carefully used a grinding wheel until I had taken off enough material for the socket to fit.
3. As always, I used plenty of penetrating lube. I probably started lubing the bolts a couple of days before the actual job. I was lucky - no stuck, rusted, busted bolts.
4. Used brand new high grade bolts, and added a little anti-seize. Not sure if the anti-seize is officially correct, but I chose to use it anyway, as future insurance against Midwest winter salt /rust.
Cheers, Simon
