LR3 Navigation Disc update?
I installed the disc. I went from a 2005 disc to this one. It took a good 5 minutes or so to update the system when it first loaded the disc, but from then on, everything is good, and I've got some pretty current maps! Thanks for making this work!
THX Jafir for confirming what I explained in the earlier posts, myDVD will work on all LR3, RRS,RR between 2004-2009 with the Denso Touchscreen navi and updates the firmware of the (very?) old LR when needed, still working with the first original DVD.

I know it is not, but I have tried removing it and it just will not show any sign of movement with real yanking on one or both ends.
I had assumed and note your comment that the panel is held on with those U clips, the same as around the radio stack H I presume, but if so, re my seat, they just do not want to let go.
Is there some pulling secret, as not only for access to the DVD, on occasion I would like to vacuum under there and removing the panel would make it easier.
Yes, I agree, removing that black plastic left to right panel would make access alot easier, but my panel seems to be welded on.

The ones under the driver's seat weren't quite as bad, but the secret I think it to apply as much even pressure as you can. You almost have to wedge something behind it to pry it out the first time. It could even be your hand to give yourself more leverage. Pulling can be difficult, prying is easier.
If anyone has a jpg of the backside of that seat fascia and or a jpg of the seat with the fascia removed, seeing them would be appreciated.
If I knew what the backside looked like, then maybe I could get something in behind to pry at.
I thought I tried stupid hard, but failed - well apparently not hard enough I guess, but that is the chicken in me - no guts, no glory!

There are four push-in type clips, small plastic tips with metal v shaped covers. Two on the upper section and two on the lower section. The two on the upper section are a little wider than the two on the lower section. Put a pair of gloves on. And then pull gently by gripping the bottom of the cover and pulling it towards the foot pedals. A Short quick tug will pull the bottom clips loose then do the same with the top. The clips are only about 1/2inch deep. So keep that in mind when you give it a quick pull. Your aren't trying to rip it off. Picture pulling out a nose hair between two fingernails. You will get the idea 😳 Not that I have any experience with nose hair pulling............... Good luck. Phil

I had assumed two, and hence was trying to pull evenly at each end. As you directed, I first pulled from the bottom on the near end first until I detected a bit of give. Then I did the same on the tranny tunnel end of the fascia and felt more movement; then the two tops and the fascia pulled away without too much additional effort.
Attached are two jpg's I took; one showing the panel removed and the other, if you look carefully, you will see the four rectangular slots punched from the black metal cross carrier.
