I just freshened up my OEM A-Frame brush bar, fixed a broken bolt, and then 3D printed the plastic caps that cover the bolts. The driver's and passenger side are actually shaped differently, and I modeled the CAD based on an OEM cap I had. I printed the cap on a textured surface for the 3D printer which gives the cap the same texture as the brush bar. I used ASA plastic for its UV-resistant properties and I'm happy with how it came out. I think PLA plastic will also work, especially if you treat it with something like Solution Finish black trim restorer to keep it nice and black over the years.
Glad to see someone using modern technology to fix a 20 + year old car.
I see that this is the old style A-Frame. I think they are better secured that the newer version (although the grill support leave much to be desired).
I like what you did.
I have the factory winch and the old style winch type A -Frame ( no parking sensors). I kept loosing those things to the branches and other debris while out exploring and finally just filled them in with black silicone. I like the look of your pristine and clean looking LR3.
Mine has stripes down the sides that would make a Zebra envious and holes in the bumper that would make a Hippo hide his nostrils in embarrassment.
