Default LR3 Perfomance Chip

Im looking into doing few modifications to my 07' D3 4.4 V8.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge anyone who has bought a chip tune for their car?

if so is there a certain one I should look for? They all seem to promise power torque and better MPG.

Its an SUV, not a sports car. There is no performance "chip" that will net much. Best bet is always proper maintenance and then, maybe, a dyne-tune. Mail order chips are for suckers.

It’s almost 6000 pounds and full time AWD with only about 300hp. Best bet is to just keep it current on maintenance. You can make it sound better by having the “turtle” resonator in the exhaust removed.

Those "chip tunes" are a TOTAL SCAM. You need a dedicated tuning shop running your whole car on a 4 wheel dynamo and a custom ECU before you can even consider tuning a 4x4.
