Default LR3 V8 vs V6

Hello,

I'm looking for an LR3 for a weekend trail vehicle. I'm coming from the Range Rover P38 and Discovery 2 world.

I've done research on the V8 and the good years and bad years.

I'm looking at 2006-2009 models. Primarily looking at the 4.4 V8.

What I don't really know anything about is the V6.

On a general sense I've never heard of known issues. Is there a big drop off in power?

Thanks

Get the V8, uses same amount of fuel as the V6 but more reliable and more power and torque.

100% agree. No comparison. The V8 is a superb engine.

Thanks.....

My main idea was if I find a LR3 with good paint, good interior, no rust and good V6 engine at a good price should I settle and buy it. Sounds like keep looking and hold out to find a good one with a V8.

The V6 version isn't a bad vehicle its just that it pales in comparison to the V8, i test drove one before i bought mine and my TDV6 left it for dust.
