Anyone having this same issue? Tried tape on key holes and the slots in the mounting channels but neither stopped the whistling. These are legit LR roof bars. I can hear the whistling through the closed sunroof. Hoping to hear of a fix before I go experimenting with taping up the bar. Thanks!

 

Completely normal. all crossbars make noise under the wind. You can get a wind deflector aftermarket but it won't fix the noise completely.

 

Had the same problem on my Discovery. I removed the crossbars and threw them in the back seat. Problem solved.

 

Or make one....either way, it will help.... good luck.
