Default LR3 TPMS and tires

Hi guys, I'm trying to diagnose why my TPMS warning light is always on. My scanner shows the tire pressures so I know the TPMS sensors are communicating with the TPMS module. I'm wondering if perhaps my tire pressures are too low? The tires I have show a max PSI of 35 so I have them filled at 33. However, the door label says the rear tires should be 42PSI. Could this be why my TPMS light won't turn off? Unfortunately, I can't fill the tires past 35 to test lest I risk a blowout.

That is probably why, too low in the rears. What the heck tire you running with that low of a PSI? I would be more worried about a blowout for a tire not rated for the truck versus air pressure doing it.

When i bought the lr3 it had toyo open country h/t tires. Not my preference and I look forward to swapping them out. I've never seen such a low max psi!

Then I doubt they are XL rated for load. All the Toyo Open COUnty H/T that are XL rated are 50psi max. I would be wary of those....

Check the spare while youre troubleshooting. It is monitored by TPMS as well and will trip the light.
