Hey all. Considering the purchase of a 2006 LR3 (v6) with 87k.

I'd appreciate any advice about what to look out for or thoughts about the v6 vs the v8. I've also read that the 2005 lr3 is to be avoided and to look for 2007 or newer...so where does that leave the '06

 

I've been told the 05' have one year only problems.

Same tech told me he prefers the v8 but that some like the v6 because it's a ford and there are many aftermarket/performance parts available.

The v8 is a jag motor and he says they do not leak like the BMW motors in the range L322.
