Did you pull up the plastic trim on the drivers side door well? A common place for wires to come apart is about 12" down from the fuse panel where the wires run on floorboard.

Crap, I meant PASSENGER side not the drivers. I'll see if I have a photo I can share later today.

I changed out the switch assembly and the vehicle still stays in extended mode when raised to offroad height and then lowered to normal height. Is there a sensor that tells if an object is preventing it from lowering? I know i have some issues with suspension but no suspension faults.

Got my rover back. Lean codes were due to a defective MAF sensor I installed or at least that is what the shop is saying. We will see. Also found out my driver side door wasn't locking thanks to someone trying to break in. Just fixed it with the quick fix that everyone has posted. Now I am onto the electrical issue. I checked my fuse boxes and they both look good with no bad fuses, so now onto hunting down a bad wire or wires.
