Default Need help identifying a Potential Brake Switch Issue

Been having what seems to be a brake switch issue, although replacing with an auto parts store brake switch (car quest I believe) did not solve the issue. I’ve been looking at the live values for brake lamp switch and the brake switch with my gap tool, and during the following events I noticed a delay between the two activating when depressing the brake pedal.

I feel no moisture in the passengers side side foot well, and all my brake lights seem to be operational and the correct bulbs. Battery is new as of 3 months ago and at the correct volts for charging and float.

symptoms: EAS, dynamic stability control, and brake warning light all come on, transmission fault message appears. My rear wiper does not work so that should account for the first fault, but below is a list of events, symptoms and faults found.

Events leading to faults: I’ve reliably been able to recreate the issue by lightly pushing on the brake pedal and holding it there for a short amount of time, triggering the cascade of faults. The pedal will be barely depressed. Depressing the brake pedal quickly does not trigger this, only a shallow, slow press.

codes available after event (the same codes appeared multiple times : B1C44-67 (2F) Rear wiper park position switch - Algorithm based failure - signal is incorrect after the event

P0504-64 (28) Brake switch A/B correlation

- Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure

P0504-29 (28) Brake switch A/B correlation

- General signal failure - signal is invalid

U0132-87 (2E) Lost communication with ride level control module - Bus signal/ message failure - missing a message

U0159-87 (2E) Lost communication with parking assist control module - Bus signal/ message failure - missing a message

U0127-87 (2E) Lost communication with tire pressure monitor module - Bus signal/ message failure - missing a message

U0416-86 (2C) Invalid data received from vehicle dynamics control module - Bus signal/message failure - signal is invalid

B1B78-84 (2C) System pressure - Bus signal/ message failure - signal is below allowable range

should I replace with a better quality brake switch? Or does there seem to be another issue in the works??

thanks everyone!!

I'd start by getting a legit brake switch.

Others here will have different suggestions...maybe even a Ford dealer.

Just ordered one. Hopefully that fixes it. I did re-seat the switch I had gotten as there was some play in it between the mounting bracket. I’ll end up replacing it with the ordered one once it gets in. Appreciate it.
