New Front Discs and Pads - Pedal now goes to floor
Gentlemen...
As the title states tonight I replaced the front rotors and pads on my rig. OEM discs and Textar pads. Everything went perfect. Gen in the rig to test drive and pedal is a bit soft as usual. I pump it a few times and the stiffness comes back. Go on a drive to break in the pads and everything seems great. Car stops great but the pedal is a bit softer. Then I stop a couple times put her in park and pump the pedal. It pumps up but then at the end gets soft and goes to the floor. WTH?
I did not break the system and slowly pushed the calipers back with a pad and c-clamp and slowly foot pumped the system the first time.
Does the system need bleed? Master cylinder going bad?

did your pedal go to the floor before you replaced the pads and rotor?
Also the days of collapsing caliper pistons with C-clamps went out with the introduction of ABS.
When you compress the caliper you are FORCING all the fluid back threw you ABS controller, not good.
If you are not going to rebuild the calipers you should open the bleeder while collapsing the piston to avoid damage to the ABS controller
