Question No noise from stereo

Hi,

I'm having a kind of weird issue with my stereo. It started with the display saying that the phone was disconnected (bluetooth) and then the sound wouldn't come back on the stereo (CD, or radio).

I had this problem once before, where it seemed like the audio wouldn't release the bluetooth connection to the phone, even though the phone was not engaged in a call. I removed my phone battery and that seemed to fix it.

I tried that same fix this time to no avail.

I did see one post from last year where someone had this same issue and wasn't able to resolve it. I thought I would try posting to see if anyone has experienced this in the last year and knows of a fix.

Help! I love, love, love my LR3 and she's making me sad with her silent treatment!

Any luck with this problem with your stereo? I'm having the same problem with my '06 LR3 HSE with the stock Harman Kardon unit.

To be honest I haven't taken it in yet (I've been traveling for work a great deal and haven't been around). I'm taking it in the first week in December.

I did also try switching out some fuses and that didn't help.

If you find a fix for yours please let me know. I also have the stock HK.

I had the same problem. My husband got drunk one night and started messing with the console pushing buttons while I was driving then the whole thing never was the same. What I found that worked FWIW is disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. I have no problems now. I guess mine just needed a "reset" of some sort

This approach does work... for a while. I've had it happen 3 times in the 2 months that I've owned my '06 HSE. Each time the "reset" method works, but it doesn't fix it permanently...

This happened to mine right before my battery went down. Replaced battery and have not had it happen again.
