Overheating with no heat plus "water" leak under truck
If you guys have an air compressor, get a vacuum coolant filler. Pulling a vacuum on the coolant system. This vacuum is then used to fill the system thru suction. Works very well. I don't even try to fill the old fashion way anymore.

Guess what just got ordered from Amazon...LOL....I have a D2 I am about to get busy on. My indy over torqued the head bolts stripped the block. So now it's time to order ARP studs, thread insert kit (not helicoils) and gasket kit. figure while in there, rocker arms, rockers, tappets, pushrods and springs are getting replaced. Oh but I digress, especially in the wrong forum. Thanks for the heads up on the Refiller. I can see this will be a busy tool soon.
FWIW, I've used Time-serts to repair stripped head bolts on 454s with success. I prefer them to helicoils. Sorry for the out-of-topic post but thought it worth mentioning.
Exactly, I will be swapping over to head studs as well. Will be using either TimeSerts or NS300L kit, both are steel or stainless inserts rather than a short little "Spring". Gotta get the weekend warrior ready for battle.
