P0561 and Suspension fault, related?
Thank you. I'll see if I can grab a log and the receipt from the mechanic who did the replacement for the PO a couple months ago and chat up the guys at Napa. Since it was already a warranty replacement and the receipt's not mine, and not even from Napa, I'm not sure it'll work. But it looks like I can get a voltage regulator off Amazon for $30 so that may be an option.
Napa hooked me up and ordered me a replacement alternator. Came in the next day (today) and I slapped it in and cleared the code. Drove it for a couple hours, watching the voltmeter on torque. Still bounces around a bit but seemed to be between 14 and 14.8 or so, whi8ch seems reasonable. The code didn't come back. I'll keep an eye on it and check for it in the future but overall I'm pretty happy about that.
I did order a single front strut from Atlantic British, probably the same as the $125 eBay ones but it's labeled as "OE REPLACEMENT - Replaces OE partRNB501580" so we'll see. I figured if it's decent and buying a single messes something up, I'll just grab another.
Next up is some faint creaks and groans in the suspension. Could it be the bags? Typical?

I plugged my cigar lighter voltmeter in so I could check my voltage and it is steady at 14.8. Sometimes 15 just after starting.
I don't think the air springs squeak very often. More likely bushings in the suspension. Could try silicone spray.

OK, just to wrap this thread up:
Issue #1, unstable voltage (P0561 on a generic reader) was resolved with a new/remanufactured alternator under warranty.
\Issue #2: Leaking driver's side strut was resolved with a new strut from AB. "OEM" my ***, but it worked. Set to off-road height and pulled the self-leveling fuse and let sit overnight. Every corner dropped about 1/4". Not sure that's to be expected but it's better than it was and it's consistent at all 4 wheels so I'll call it a win.
Thanks for the input all, and I may post again in the near future with issues relating to my new rig. But it's remarkably well-sorted at 122k, and the only outstanding issue I have is the "low coolant" message. I have the replacement reservoir and just need to wait for another 40F day to get it in. Then I'll move on to cosmetic stuff unless I run across something new.
