I just bought an 07 LR3 today, White with Black interior V8 SE7 with everything but nav and HD may my journey be carefree and delightful!

 

WOOT! Is it fast? It is comfortable? Did you own an SUV before it?

What are your first impressions? I can't wait to hear!

its "fast enough" definitely not slow, I'm pretty gentle on it so far just a short trip from the suburb where I bought it to downtown where I live, but I'm not worried about being able to pass people.

really comfortable, i drove it for an hour with a big ol smile on my face, love the chawton white color and the black interior is really nice compared to the tan, where all the ones I looked at had bluejeans stains on the drivers seat.

I actually owned no car for the last 6 years (don't need one where I live), this is a purely pleasure vehicle that won't be used for commuting. my previous car was a 97 acura integra. Im a very tall person with 2 dogs so I wanted a Lr3 after doing a ton of research on other cars and test driving many others this was "the one". Only other SUV I owned was a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer (POS!)

Just got through the owners manual, sheesh lots of stuff in this ride!

 

BVLR.COM in GA has a few nice white LR3's and prices seem to be decent. I just bought an 89 RR Classic from them and had it shipped to Maine and they were pretty good to deal with. I think they have a white HSE actually, but not sure. Good luck with the search - I'm thinking the same thing and hoping to pick up a used LR3 with under 40k sometime late next year (or an LR4 if I can find one cheap!)
