My LR3 driver seat stopped going back but would move forward. A replacement switch assembly is quite expensive so I took mine apart and wanted to share that it is an easy fix. The contacts get carbon build up from arcing and you simply clean them up with a little sand paper and reassemble. You do not need to unplug the switch from underneath, there is enough cable slack to just work on it right there. Here are some pictures so you can see the details. 30 minutes saves the $250 replacement cost.
You need to pry open the PCB switches to get at the contacts. The black you see circled is the carbon build up. I metered the switch and it was not making contact. Little sand paper and good as new!
The switch is screwed into it if I remember. Im having this same problem. Ordered a used switch and still nothing. I might have to look closer at the stock one. My fuse is good also. My tech had mentioned the motor might have failed, but don’t know how to check that out.
