Default Rear Wiper Blade

Is there a trick to removing the rear wiper blade? Because of the metal wiper arm shroud, I can't get a look to see if there's a tab or something I need to depress. I spent about 10-15 min with a small flat bladed screwdriver but only managed to break some of the plastic on the old wiper blade.

Thanx for any help on this...

Odd. Mine just pulls off towards the pivot point. New one snapped in place. Just like most other wipers I have replaced.

While pressing the clip (if one), push harder than you think you should to the left (toward the pivot point). The angle has to be just right, too.

I always remove arm to replace blade ( to prevent bending or braking something ). Easier on the bench.

I'd recommend this as well. Much easier to see what you are doing and get the right angle. It's just a bolt to remove.

Geez, mine must have been worn in some way or never fully installed.

Thanx for the replies... gave it another go and managed to get it replaced. It did take a little more force than I initially thought. Replaced the old wiper with a Bosch Icon... such a nice difference. One of the things LR engineered right on our 3's was the rear window wiper path design.
